D.D.A. stands for Day by Day Agape. 

Agape is a Greek word that expresses the love between the human and the divine.  D.D.A. refers to living Day by Day in God’s love as individuals and in community.

D.D.A. is a three day youth retreat program for teens ages 15—18 and exists within the Catholic Church as a tool dedicated to building up the faith community through:

• Peer and Adult Presentations
• Small and Large group discussions
• Music
• Teen Witnesses
• Free time to reflect and relax
• Instructional/Closing Masses

The Philosophy of DDA

• Faith must be a free choice.
• The use of contemporary Catholic teaching as an attractive choice for teenagers.
• The importance of balancing study, prayer and action.
• The building of community and a spiritual bond between the adults and the teens in the youth program.
• The empowerment of teens to take ownership of their faith and to give it expression in their daily lives.

Three Goals of DDA

• To strengthen personal Christian awareness

• To strengthen the family as a Christian community

• To strengthen the parish youth group by offering teens insights into our Catholic faith and the tools to express it.
