Matt is 22 years old and he was born and raised in Roselle, New Jersey. Growing up Matt attended his parish grade school, St. Joseph the Carpenter, run by the Sisters of St. Joseph. He attended Roselle Catholic High School, run by the Marist Brothers, and continues to be active in their youth ministries. In May he graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where he earned a BA in Politics – American Government. While at CUA he was Student Body Academic Vice President. Matt is looking forward to his year at CYFM working with the amazing students and people whom he will meet. I chose to spend a year at CYFM because when I visited last year I noticed that it is a place young people love. Soon I came to realize that I also love it. Serving in this Capuchin Ministry presents me not only with the opportunity to minister to amazing young people, but also to learn from the gifted friars and staff who inspire me each day and help me to grow both in my faith and as a young adult
